I’ve always felt a strong connection to Big Sur. For years I would head down 2 or 3 times a year to camp, soak in hotsprings, and appreciate the time disconnected from the default world. The Bixby Canyon Bridge would always signal I was getting close, and it never fails to make me smile as I feel the thump of the road as my tires ease across the bridge.
